We Love Lewiston!

A week ago, wow I can't believe it's already been a week, Jax and I made the long trip to Lewiston to visit friends. Lewiston is where Keith and I went to school, met and lived for the past 5 years. We loved our time there and miss our friends there so much! Jax with Ashli, my best friend that we stayed with. He's not so sure about the skeleton.
While there we did lots of fun stuff. One excursion was the Moscow farmers market, where we found these amazing homemade doughnuts. Sooo good!

Lewiston wouldn't be Lewiston without Waffles N' More, so of course we went there. This is actually where Keith and I had our first date.
We got to see some of the changes around town like the new science building on campus. Keith spent most of his time at school in the science building and they built this amazing new one right after he graduated.

And of course we spent time on the levees. Besides the people, the levees are by far my favorite thing about Lewiston. We have spent so much time walking, running and biking these paths by the water. We miss them so much!
As you can see Jax loved the trip and he actually did pretty good. We did a lot in those few days that we were there and of course I didn't take pictures of the best part, being with all our old friends. Thanks everyone who made the effort to see us!

Our Little All-Star

Lately Jax has been really into baseball. What can I say, we start'em young! His favorite pregame activities include listening to the MP3 player, favorite song, Put Me in Coach. And of course warming up those legs by jumping on our bed!
Then he's ready to gear up.
Practicing some throw downs. We still need to work on stepping with the opposite foot.
Now he's in ready position and calls out some signs. He's playing the best position ever!
Then he's ready for some batting practice. He takes a few swings with dad. As you can see we never have to shag balls because we have the perfect fielder who brings the ball right back to us.
Next he looks down the line to get the sign, and gives his own sign back.
He's been cleared to swing away and dreams of hitting a home run.

The big hit!
After hours of playing we're ready for him to cool down in the tub but we can't get him to take his helmet off. We love this active kid! Hopefully he continues to love baseball!
