The Decision Maker
Lately Jaxson thinks he has the power to make all of the decisions at our house. He knows what he wants and is determined to get it! Sometimes this is a good thing and most of the time it is not.
An example of a good decision is he has started wanting to sit on the potty and occasionally will use it properly but I remind you this all must be his idea not ours.
Some decisions have not been so pleasant. Such as he is now thinking that he doesn't need naps. He will sometimes resist his naps for hours and just hang out talking in his bed. This does NOT make me happy!
Other things he gets set on are so funny. Everytime he watches TV he thinks this is the best seat in the house. Too bad he can't get out on his own, or on the other hand maybe that's not a bad thing.
He has also decided it is time for him to have someone to play with at home all the time.
In case you need a close up, since he wouldn't really hold it. This is what we sent to our parents to share our big news! We are so excited to be expecting another baby! We are already about 14 weeks along and have had an ultrasound done that showed everything was looking good. The due date is Jan. 23rd. At times I can't wait for January but other days when Jax is in one of his moods I get very scared for January. We're excited to start a new adventure as a family of four!

Since We've Been Home
Where does the time go? I can't believe we've been home for a little over a month already and I haven't posted anything we've done. Of course we've been busy!
Since we've been home Jaxson thinks he needs to do everything that I'm doing. Sometimes this is funny and cute but other times it can be annoying. As soon as I got the vacuum out he wouldn't let me touch it. I guess this is now his job.
It's been the same in the kitchen. If I'm cooking Jax wants to cook. He screams 'ook' until I give him something to do and he's not satisfied with empty tupperware anymore he wants something in his bowl to really stir. This has been a messy but fun adventure!
We celebrated Keith's birthday! It's almost been a month now but he's now 27! Wow! That seems old. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner because Keith has never been there. It was great!
Then we went home to dig into this yummy dessert!
Opps! Sorry for the repeat!
Happy Birthday Keith! We love you!
With Keith's new summer school schedule, which has been much less demanding, we've been able to get out and do some fun family activities. Jax thought his dad was a pretty funny monkey!
