Easter

We had a very nice Easter this year.  It was good to be home and together.  The past two years the kids and I have been back west for funerals.

Before church I snapped a few pics of my cuties in their Easter outfits.  Obviously it was really funny.

They can be so sweet sometimes.

Keith's not going to be happy I'm posting this.  I did not tell them to kiss, I asked Jaxson to give Kenna a kiss on the cheek but she turned into him and I happened to catch it.  I think it's hilarious but Keith thought it was gross.

Oh how I love these two!

After church and a nap they went on their little Easter hunt.  I LOVE scavenger hunts so I made one up for them to find their treats and surprises.  As you can tell they were excited to start.

They found treasures all over.

We told Jax he had to wait and do everything with Kenna.  He was so sweet to hold her hand and show her how to do the scavenger hunt.

She was pretty excited about her bubble wand.

They got Finding Nemo to share, which was a big hit.

I tried to get a good pic of them together with their loot but these are the best I got.

I love Easter and how it helps us to remember what's really important in life.  I'm so thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ and our Father's perfect plan!

Dying Eggs

Because of our super crazy week I was a slacker mom on doing fun stuff for my kids for Easter.  We did at the last minute squeeze in dying eggs.  Thank goodness I had a kit from last years clearance on hand.

Thank goodness my kids are young and don't realize what a slacker I am yet.  This is Jaxson's latest pose the he always uses for pics, all I can say is that at least he's looking at the camera.

Kenna did not like the rule of one egg at a time.

She thought this was a great idea and tons of fun until she realized she was changing colors as well.

After she realized her hand was blue she wanted to be done.

Jax turned his egg into a monster who he named Monsterous.  We had to make a special bed for Monsterous to sleep in his room and he played with him tons until he fell.  When he cracked we had one sad little boy.

We're Moving!

In a few short months our family will say goodbye to Ohio and head on up to Michigan.

We found out this life changing news a little unexpectedly.  We were supposed to find out the results of the match on Thursday the 5th but some computer geek out there figured out how we could find out sooner.  Our friend Josh, who lives with us, got a phone call at about 12:30 am on the 3rd from another student friend and told him how to change the url and find out.  We ran up to Josh and Dina's room and we all hundled around their computer in the dark to find out that they were headed to New Jersy and we are off to Michigan. 

We are extremly excited about this move.  We feel so forunate that Keith got his number one pick.  We have felt for a couple of years now that this is where we would be going next.  We feel so at peace and can't wait to start the next chapter of our lives.  That being said we are also sad to close this chapter.  There are going to be soooo many things we are going to miss about Ohio.  We have LOVED being here.  Maybe that's why we're only going 2.5 hours away!

We will be living in the downriver (southern) suburbs of the Detriot area.  That pic doesn't make Detriot look so bad does it?  Don't worry we know what to really expect and we're ready!

Here's a little fuzzy pic of the hospital Keith will be spending the next three years of his life.  Now, if we can just survive all the craziness that goes with moving!
