We decided to give soccer another try this year. I was hoping now that Jaxson is a little older he might like it more, I was wrong. I can't say this soccer thing has been a good experience but we've learned some things. Jaxson played a lot of goalie and really did pretty well. The best part was that he got to hang out more with one of his good friends Elijah.

Goodbye to Kindergarten
I really can't believe we're already done with Kindergarten. The year has flown by and it's been such a great experience for Jaxson.
We have LOVED Mrs. O'Brien! She has been such a great teacher for Jaxson and knew exactly how to work with him. We are going to miss her!
How could I not post this? This picture will always make me laugh! Funny enough this is about what his school pictures looked like at the beginning of the year.
His class had a full time aide Ms. Kreszyn, who was also awesome!
The last day of school. As much as he enjoyed school he was super excited about summer vacation! And I'm super excited that we won't have our stressful morning rush to get out the door for a while! Bring on summer!

Jaxson's Spooky Party
The whole month of October was about Halloween for us this year, starting with Jaxson's birthday party. He wanted a Spooky Halloween party this year and came up with most of the ideas for the party himself.
Once all the kids arrived we started with a pirates treasure hunt. It was nice having kids old enough to read and understand the clues!
Then we played games with ghost bombs, which were hallowed out eggs filled with baby powder.
The kids who came to the party were Brayden, Gunnar, Tanner, Ross, Cole, Elijiah, Zealin, Hannah and Arlee.
After a few more games it was time for the pinata that Jaxson did a lot of the work on.
Before cake we did a spooky lab experiment and made witch's brew. This was probably most of the kids favorite part of the party and now Jaxson asks if we can buy dry ice at least once a week.
Time for cake!
The cake was supposed to be Frankenstein but I thought it looked a little more like a Sesame Street character. Jax loved it though and was super impressed! He told me it looked just like he dreamed it would. :)
He friends gave him some awesome gifts! He's such a spoiled kid. His best buddy Brayden who lives down the street knows Jaxson well and gave him a worm home. The party was a lot of work but totally worth it. Afterwards Jax told me this was the best day of his life. We love our Jaxson boy!
We decorated more for the party than I usually do mainly because I could keep it up all month and because I had a friend lend me a bunch of stuff.

Happy Birthday Jaxson!
I can't believe our Jaxson boy is 6!! How did this happen?! With Jaxson's birthday I was thinking about how I've been a mother for that long as well. Becoming a mother has been the event that has changed my life the most and I'm so grateful for this crazy boy who's taught me so much!
And of course he woke up to a room full of balloons to play with, which is great fun for everyone!
Keilie wasn't so sure what to think of her crazy family during this but by the end she also enjoyed playing with the balloons.
After breakfast he searched for his gifts. And loved everyone of them!
He was especially excited about the Nerf bow his Uncle Danny sent him.
How could I not include this picture?! With the crazy daddy photobombing in the background!
He had a special day at school and chose to take doughnut holes as the treat to share at school. They don't allow homemade stuff which was kind of nice and took some pressure off me.

Goodbye to Preschool!
The end of preschool was a very exciting time for Jaxson. We loved his preschool and they did a ton of fun events at the end of the year.
They had a Dad's Night Out event that was super hero themed. They were super excited to wear their capes and had a blast.
Keith also got to take Jax on his last field trip out to Real Life farm. Since most of these city kids don't get to see farm animals often this was a big deal.
The Nebeker in him came out and he loved the goats.
I heard he also did pretty good milking the cow and had a great day.
He participated in a field day and got a medal that he was pretty proud of.
They had a family fun night with clowns who did some very impressive balloon animals and glitter tattoos.
The music lady was also really fun.
On the last day of school they had a bike parade and we made Jaxson's pirate themed.
A class shot on that hot day.
Finally it was graduation time. He's such a cute kid and asked me to take of pic of him like this "showing his good side" by some of his art work.
During his performance he sang his little heart out and pointed to me during the "I love you" part of the song. He knows how to melt his mom's heart!
We he got his little certificate they asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and he loudly declared a ninja.
I can't believe the year is over. We loved his preschool and his teacher, Mrs. R, was so good for him. I can't believe he'll really be in Kindergarten in a few short months. I feel like once that happens real life begins. We sure our proud of this boy and love him to pieces!

Preschool Christmas Program
Jaxson has really been enjoying preschool this year. He was quite excited for his Christmas program. This kid is always ready to preform.
Nope, no nerves or stage fright here. After his Primary Program performance at church we talked alot of the importance of being good when he was up there.
And for once he listened. He did a great job singing the songs and doing his part.
It was short and sweet. It was also fun sitting with Kenna in the audience because she knew all the songs as well and sat with us singing right along.
Afterwards they got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. It was a fun night.

Soccer
We decided to try out organized sports this year with Jaxson, so this fall he started soccer. Since Keith and I were both very into sports we were very excited for this.
And even though is was cold fall we all stuck it out and got some good laughs out of it.
Here are the Blue Rhinos. The boy next to him with the ball is his good friend Elijah.
With coach Dan, who was great with our crazy boy!
He was pretty proud of his trophy and medal. He thinks they're real gold. He said the best part of the season was the pizza party at the end.
