The Decision Maker

Lately Jaxson thinks he has the power to make all of the decisions at our house. He knows what he wants and is determined to get it! Sometimes this is a good thing and most of the time it is not. An example of a good decision is he has started wanting to sit on the potty and occasionally will use it properly but I remind you this all must be his idea not ours.
Some decisions have not been so pleasant. Such as he is now thinking that he doesn't need naps. He will sometimes resist his naps for hours and just hang out talking in his bed. This does NOT make me happy!

Other things he gets set on are so funny. Everytime he watches TV he thinks this is the best seat in the house. Too bad he can't get out on his own, or on the other hand maybe that's not a bad thing.
He has also decided it is time for him to have someone to play with at home all the time.
In case you need a close up, since he wouldn't really hold it. This is what we sent to our parents to share our big news! We are so excited to be expecting another baby! We are already about 14 weeks along and have had an ultrasound done that showed everything was looking good. The due date is Jan. 23rd. At times I can't wait for January but other days when Jax is in one of his moods I get very scared for January. We're excited to start a new adventure as a family of four!

OH HOORAY! I am so excited for you! You are a great mom and will do wonders, I promise! Remember, there is still time for him to grow and change (if only he would grow out of tantrums by then!! But really, that doesn't EVER happen. :) You will be amazed how the next 5 months changes him.

CONGRATS, CONGRATS! I am so excited for you!

How adorable! Congratulations you two!
I know what you mean about what we call the "rooster complex" Sofia is at that stage now, and the other girls are somewhat tolerant, but no nap is not okay!
HAHA, most seem to think 2 is a handful, but it really is ok! You have 2 hands, and there are 2 parents! Now 4 on the other, other, other, other hand :D

Congratulations! That is so exciting.
I have an idea for your nap problem. Connor still takes naps durring the day (he's 2 1/2) If I read him some books and then lay down with him and pretend to go to sleep he always falls asleep. Then when he's asleep I leave. It doesn't take long. You'll just have to make a bed on the floor or something. Good luck with your boy, and your pregnancy.

Congrats! I thought you'd be announcing something!!! On the potty training thing, our boys were both like that. Completely their idea and private about it(at first) This is why it took them until they were just past 3yrs old. Hopefully you'll have better luck!
