Of course we had to do a little Easter egg hunt for Jaxson. We had a lot of fun on this beautiful day!
In his new Easter outfit. I bought it really big so it would fit all summer but I think it's maybe a little too big. Don't ya love the eyebrow action? Yes, that's the best smile we could get out of him while looking at the camera.
For a while he walked around trying to carry all of the eggs he found at one time. We finally convinced him he could put them in a basket. Of course Paisley didn't want to miss out on the fun. She didn't leave Jax's side once she realized there was candy in those eggs.
With candy, eggs, and bubbles what does he choose to play with? The grass. He decided it was his job to pick the grass and throw it on the driveway. He was very entertained with this for a long time.
Finally we got him back to the eggs by showing him there was candy inside, after we had already eaten most of it! Then he shook each egg and opened it if there was something inside and threw out the others. Smart boy!
Once we got back inside he loved playing with his bubbles. Daddy was nice enough to blow lots of them for him.

he is so cute! love the facial expressions. ethan totally didn't get the whole egg hunting thing. as soon as he had one in each hand, he didn't even attempt to find more and there was no convincing him to put them in his basket. maybe next year!
I love his big gap in his teeth. What a funny kid he is.
