Grandma's visit

In April Keith left us for the month to go on an externship in Michigan.  My mom was so kind to come spend a week with us to help us survive the long time with no husband or daddy.  We had a great time for the few days she was here

We also went to a kids resale and scored some great deals.  Like this dragon costume for $2!  Both of my kids loved it and had fun dressing up.

My mom had only been here three days when she got a phone call from family telling us that her mom, my grandma, had a heart attack and was in serious condition in the hospital.  Within two hours from getting the phone call we had packed and loaded up the car to make the over 26 hour drive to Utah.  It was quite an emotional adventure driving with two kids and our dog in our regular size car across the country as fast as we could.  We'll just leave it at that, I never want to go through that again!
