Texas

After the fun weekend with my family.  My mom and dad were nice enough to take my kids home with them to Pocatello, so that I could go to Texas with my best friend Ashli.  She is moving there so her husband can attend PA school.  He was already there and she didn't want to make the three day drive alone, so I tagged along with her.  We had a great time together and were able to really catch up.  The first night we were together we stayed up late talking, then we drove all day without any music and talked the whole time and even stayed up late that night talking.  It was great!
I didn't take too many pictures of our trip.  One reason being that we were in the car for 30 + hours and for the most part it wasn't very nice scenery.  I did have to take a picture of this though.  You could tell as soon as we got to Texas that we were indeed in Texas, even Ronald McDonald had to ride a horse and wear a cowboy hat.
Or other McDonalds had bulls outside.  This was so funny to me!
After we arrived in San Antonio we did a little site seeing.  First stop was the Alamo, which was pretty cool.

I thought this tree in the courtyard was amazing.

Then we did the riverwalk, which was also fun.
San Antonio seems like a very fun city and I'm so excited for Ashli and Tom to start this new adventure.  Their not only starting school but their also about to have their first baby and I can't wait for Ashli to join me in motherhood!  It was great to be able to spend five days with her!
But I did miss my kiddos terribly and I was excited to get back to them.  And too the beautiful Utah mountains.

I had to take some pics of them from above while I had a chance since usually when I fly I'm with two crazy kids by myself.
