Jaxson LOVED being there because the Youngbergs have three boys (and one sweet baby girl) for him to play with, and they are all true boys just like Jaxson. The boys had a great time digging for potatoes and playing in the dirt,
catching and playing with worms,
and being silly, rough, and crazy as often as they could.
Kennadie wasn't to be left out and wanted to do everything the boys were doing. She loved dressing up as Spiderman,
and frog hunting with the boys in the morning. This was probably Jaxson's favorite part about being there was the frogs. He was so excited and wanted to constantly go look for frogs. (Do you like the nice crack shot? Maybe Jaxson should be a plummer).
Luckily Micheal, the oldest Youngberg boy, was a very good frog catcher and would catch one for everyone.
Yep, my boy is all boy!
We also explored a park in Weiser and the kiddos had a blast. Jaxson fit in so well with the boys. Aryn will probably think I'm crazy for saying this, but being there made me wish for a house full of boys and all the joys and thrills that come with it!
But I also love having my little girl and she wasn't ever too far behind those crazy boys.
Aryn is a great mom and always had fun and creative things for the kids to do, like playing in the sprinklers,
and kiddie pool with their zucchini boats.
With some of their excess zucchinis from their awesome garden we helped the boys make zucchini boats to race and float. Some were even lucky enough to have zucchini sailors to sail their ships. The kids loved it! We throughly enjoyed our time in Weiser with the Youngbergs! Our hope is to someday live somewhat closer to them so that we can hook up Kenna and Brendan and then we can all be family!
