Halloween

Jaxson is sure getting the hang of this whole preschool thing.  They had their first holiday party recently and went all out for Halloween.  

Jaxson had a blast dressing up with his friends.  He wasn't supposed to wear a mask so he couldn't be the snake man costume and choose this thing out of the dress up box.

On Halloween morning they received a few creepy gifts in their Halloween buckets.

We found a recipe for worms on pinterest and since my boy loves bugs I knew we had to give them a try.

They ended up being a lot of work but looked and tasted good.

The kiddos loved them!

After our Halloween dinner of goblin goo (taco soup) we did a little ghost bowling while waiting to go trick-or-treating.

The missionaries showed up for a quick visit and posed for a few pictures too.  The elder on the right is from Tonga and thought this whole Halloween thing was pretty crazy and fun.

Then it was time to go trick-or-treating.  This was the first year we've really done this little tradition.  And just like in Cleveland our neighborhood got really into the Halloween spirit.

I love this cute princess!  Everyone would ask her what princess she was and since she doesn't know any names of princesses she would she a blue one.  There will be no shortage of candy around here for a while!
